Thank you for visiting our site. Perhaps you are new to the area or you are just looking for a solid, fundamental, Independent Baptist Church that endeavors to exalt and worship the Lord Jesus Christ. You’ve come to the right place. The gospel is paramount here and we would love to share God’s “good news” with you if you are seeking the Lord. A thumbnail sketch of the key points relating to the gospel is included in our site. Our church has two main purposes: to evangelize those who do not believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world (Hebrews 1:5-8) and to edify the saints for the work of the ministry (Ephesians 4:11-16)At Calvary Baptist Church we only use Christ-honoring, conservative music in our worship, believing that our music must primarily be pleasing and acceptable to our God (Romans 12:1-2, Colossians 3:16, I Peter 1:15-16) as it aids us in honoring and uplifting the Lord (I Corinthians 10:31, Revelations 5:9). Such is the pattern we find in the Scripture, which is our sole authority for faith and practice (II Timothy 3:16-4:5, I John 2:3-5). We invite all who seek the Lord to come and learn more of Him (Isaiah 55:6, Jeremiah 29:13). We also invite all born-again believers to come and worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
